Lisa FullerLisa Fuller — Elder Care Advisor

Lisa Fuller, founder of LifeStages, understands what you and your family are facing. Lisa has worked with elders and their families since 2000. As founder of a successful home-care agency, Lisa worked closely with caregivers, families, facilities and agencies throughout the southern Maine area. She left that organization in 2008 to establish LifeStages in order to address transition issues for families and elders in ways not possible before.

Lisa takes an active role in elder issues within the community. She is a current board member for the Visiting Nurses Association and a past board member for Hospice of Maine. Lisa is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and holds a Certificate in Mediation. She was also a contributing columnist for Maine Women's Journal writing on elder care issues.

As a former 2nd VP at a Fortune 500 company, Lisa brings her administrative and business acumen to each client situation, helping to restore calm and confidence during trying times. Her team has been carefully selected to convey her vision of LifeStages' caring support to ensure that your loved one continues to lead the most positive lifestyle possible.

Care Management Team

Nancy Deane-Loranger MS, RN, CCM--RN Case Manager
Nancy brings a wide range of health care experience to LifeStages, including over 20 years of experience in community health nursing, management and administrative services, quality improvement and disability case management. Nancy has been a Certified Case Manager since 1995 and has served clients in a variety of settings by promoting independence and empowerment to assist them to achieve their highest level of functional independence. Whether it be assisting families with their home care needs or promoting return to work services to disabled clients, Nancy brings creativity and a personal touch to all her clients. Nancy has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Joseph's College and a Master of Science in Business from Husson College. She has provided training and mentoring for case managers both locally and nationally and is a member of the Case Management Society of America.

Christine Shanahan BSN RN, MPH, CCM
Christine Shanahan’s career has taken a trajectory that has enabled her to interact with patients and families at various stages of the health care continuum. Christine has practiced in the acute care setting, community health field, post-acute rehabilitation discharge planning, and case management at a Fortune 500 disability insurance company. Through her over 20 years of clinical practice, Christine has learned to navigate the health care system in order to advocate for resources and funding for those in need to allow for successful transitions in care management. In addition Christine had combined her nursing intuition with her skills in photography to allow her to communicate the transitions of life through the prism of the photographic lens. To Christine photography is an extension of her nursing career as it is a means for understanding and caring.

Chris has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Joseph's College and a Master's Degree in Public Health from University of New Hampshire. She has a certificate in Documentary Photography from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies. Chris is also a Certified Case Manager and was requested by the Case Management Society of America to provide comments on revision Standard of Practice in 2002. She is also a member of the Case Management Society of America

Carol Romano BSN RN, CCM

Carol has performed clinical assessments and provided Case Management services in a variety of settings for the past 35 years, including critical care, ambulatory outpatient care, occupational injuries and illnesses, and disability and rehabilitation. In addition, she brings personal experience with elder care and services concerns and the challenges of transition issues for families.

Carol graduated from Central Maine General School of Nursing and continued her education at the University of Southern Maine. She has completed numerous focused training sessions in her professional field and is an active member of the local chapter and national organization of the Case Management Society of America.  

Elder Mediation Team

Jacqui Clark, MPA
Jacqui Clark, MPA, as a partner of Mediation and Facilitation Resources, provides facilitation, organizational consultation training, and conflict resolution services. Her masters degree in administration is a complement to her former experiences as executive director of a not-for-profit organization, project director in state government and rural organizational consultant under contract with the federal government. Her work with groups is based on the belief that conflict can be used as an opportunity for change and creative planning. As a facilitator, trainer, and consultant she works to meet the individual needs of each organization. Her undergraduate education in Social Work from Syracuse University and her Masters in Public Administration from the University of Maine has equipped her to work with the human dynamics in negotiations. She has been in practice since 1984.

Anne Martin
Anne Martin is a licensed attorney in the State of Maine, who specializes in conflict resolution with emphasis in Elder and Family Mediation and Communication Services.   Anne draws on her life experience working with individuals of varying abilities and disabilities from adolescence to significant age.  Well experienced in working with stressful situations, she is respectful of client's interests and is solution oriented as she works with clients to develop communication techniques helpful to solving problems.

Anne has acquired mediation skills training from The Center for Social Gerontology, Inc. of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Montgomery County Mediation Center of Philadelphia, Elder Decisions of Boston and participated in the First National Symposium on Ethical Standards for Elder Mediation in Philadelphia, as part of the 350 hours of conflict resolution training she has undertaken around the country.

Anne's commitment to her field is evident in her volunteer work serving as a Board member to Tri County Community Action Program (TCCAP) of Berlin, NH, which oversees programs serving individuals at all stages of life, from Head Start to Alzheimer Day Care facilities, and serves on the Restorative Justice Community Mediation Services steering committee.  She is an Honorary Board Member of an Independent Living Center, and an Opportunity Center for the Developmentally Disabled in California.

Anne's approach is to provide clients a safe forum in which to discuss issues of concern and guide them in the development of solutions in an efficient manner.
