Lisa Fuller and Jacqui Clark were asked to participate at the Maine Alzheimer's Association's Annual Convention in Augusta on June 16, 2010. Jacqui led two workshops for caregivers on "When Disputes Arise: Tips and techniques for dealing with family conflict over care-giving." Both sessions were packed and Jacqui got rave reviews! They have now asked us to provide an in-service for their call center. Family issues is one of the most common types of calls they receive. This demonstrates just how many families struggle with siblings and others as they deal with the challenges that come from aging relatives. It feels good to know we can help.

Lisa Fuller was selected to speak at the Maine Human Resource Convention in May at the Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine. She will partner with Todd Grove from Long Term Care Financial Partners and their topic will be on the impacts of elder care in the workplace. Lisa will speak about how productivity improves and health care costs decrease when providing elder care support services to employees through the workplace.

Lisa Fuller was recently asked to present to a class at the Osher Institute. The class was on Long Term Care and Lisa's topic was on "Aging In Place - The Future of Aging".

Lisa Fuller and Anne Martin have been invited to speak at the monthly meeting of the Southern Maine Long Term Care Working Group on January 27, 2010 at 2:00. Their topic is "Elder Mediation: What It Is and How It Helps Families Reach Consensus". The meeting will be held at the Southern Maine Agency on Aging in Scarborough. All are welcome!

Lisa Fuller will be discussing elder care issues with employees of Long Term Care at UNUM Insurance in Portland, Maine on November 20, 2009. Her topic is "A day in the life of a caregiver and how LTC Insurance professionals can make a difference".

On June 5 2009, Lisa Fuller participated on a panel at the Institute for Civic Leadership on "Act II: Setting the Stage for the Next Steps in your Work and Career". Lisa discussed her experiences leaving her position as a 2VP at a Fortune 500 company to start her own business dedicated to helping elders. Lisa was highlighted and her story was reported on WCSH Channel 6 News that evening.
